Did Topps ever shrink wrap their 1985 wax boxes?

I don't think so, but the card shop near my house shrink wraps the vintage boxes they gets. I don't think it's a difficult thing to do. I thought it started in the early 90s from the factory.

I dont remember Topps wrapping their wax boxes till the mid 90's
