    Appears to be an annual thing sponsored by the German Shooting Federation. I think it is held in a different location every year or two.

    Don't know for sure. Makes the medal appear cheap, though supposedly, according to an edge mark, it is .800 silver. I am thinking that whatever firm struck the medal, did it on the cheap; did not bother, perhaps, to keep the machinery clean.
