For sale here is an 1840-(O) Seated Half Reverse of 1838 PCGS certified F12. This coin was struck in New Orleans in 1840, and the reverse die had not been changed from producing the 1839-O Bust Halves. The mint mark was on the obverse in 1839, so there is no mint mark on this coin. A very cool piece. This example is evenly circulated with a smooth grey color on both sides. Priced at $725 delivered with payment by check or money order. PayPal is fine at $750.
