porcelain coins and medals reference help

I recently aquired a lot of porcelain medal which I know nothing about. I listed them as a lot on the BST( pics are there } with no interest so it looks like I'm going to have to look them up and find ID numbers and values.... can anyone point me to a site that would list these?
any direction is appreciated

thanks
Ken

Most of these Meissen porcelain notgeld pieces are indexed in the Karl Scheuch reference:

Münzen aus Porzellan und Ton der Staatlichen Porzellanmanufaktur Meissen und anderer Keramischen Fabriken des In- und Auslandes

I am not aware of an English translation of the reference book, and getting your hands on a copy is sort of difficult. I have only one Meissen porcelain Notgeld piece, which I purchased from Ron Guth on ebay (his ebay seller name is germancoins.com). If you send him a message he may be able to help you hunt down a copy of the Scheuch reference.

EDIT: I noticed that your pieces are not really Notgeld, but are rather the later Meissen commemorative type medals. Ron may still be able to help you try to find a reference for them. However, the Scheuch reference will probably be of little use for identifying the individual pieces. Good luck!

    Ken,
Our buddy Big Rich has the Scheuch books. He thinks the last volume covers the post WWWII (East German) issues. Let me know your next few CT shows and I'll drag him along to one (provided his wife lets him get away from the honey do list) with the book.
