1999 Johann Strauss/Father and Son Gold Proof Republic of Austria

I just have a question on this above referenced coin. I had bought it several years ago in Germany and now I want to know the AGW for my records. I keep finding inconsistent information on the internet. I find it ranges from 8.11g to 7.96g. I want to know the AGW in troy ounces from a catalog so that there is no doubt.
Thanks!
Thanks!

My Krause says the weight should be 8.0410 g - but that's the total coin weight not AGW. It's 0.925 fine, with an AGW of 0.2391 oz

Yes, it is the 500 Schilling gold coin.
0.925 fine? Over the internet, I keep running into 995 fine.
In any case, the Krause Catalog is the one to go by.

This is a very modern coin from a country which is known for producing reliable silver rounds annually (the philharmonic) so I find it unlikely the fineness would be odd ... Perhaps a medieval coin or an ancient but not this ... Just my opinion take it or leave it

Austria is a long established and consistent coin producer, so the 995/1000 for the gold 500 Schilling is likely a typo or other error.
By the way, the silver Philharmonics are 1.5 Euro coins, so that would not make them "rounds" correct?

Many countries issue silver and gold bullion with face values. Including USA. If you believe those are market values, mail them all to me and I will PayPal you US Dollars of equal value
