Korean Chon

Not my usual fare, but one of those coins with which you can fall in love. Not the ubiquitous dragon, but the ephemeral phoenix.
From that speck on the obverse, clearly a physical object separate from the coin, one wonders how clean the PCGS facility was, at the time.

Would they reslab it for you?

Don't know. Purchased it "second-hand." Not familiar with the TPG policies. I'm just happy with the coin.

Very nice! Always good to see coinage of the Great Han Empire, even if it was a Japanese protectorate at the point this coin was minted.

Certainly! It is a great copper!
The contrast between the fields and the elements are superb and it has great eye appeal! Thanks for sharing

What is the grade PCGS gave it?
