Does two forever stamps work....

...to send one PSA graded card in a bubble mailer? It's the small (I think 000) size that just holds one card. Weight is 1.9 oz on a postal scale.

    Nope, the thickness is the killer part. 1/4 inch thick for letter version. That is a PWE in a top loader. $1.12 is the cheapest you can do. And it has to be less than 3/4 inch thick.

    Thanks - I'm thinking then maybe 3 stamps. I think they're 46 cents each these days but it's hard to remember with the frequent increases and the fact that the stamps just say "forever". If anyone think 3 stamps wont cut it, please let me know.

    I think you are looking at $2.07, because, as was mentioned before, the thickness of the envelope. That's the same price for up to three ounces.

    Buy the label/postage directly from eBay or PayPal and the cost goes down to $1.69.

    You can go to an item you already shipped and click print another label then edit the address. I know there is a link somewhere that you won't have to do that, but don't have it anymore.

    For one ungraded card, here is how you do it. I buy a 6 x 8 photo mailer. They are cheap when you buy them in bulk. Because they are less than 6 1/8" high, they are letter sized. Since they are rigid, they become a non-machinable letter. The card and the photo mailer weigh slightly under 2 oz, so the pricing is 46 cents for the letter, 20 cents for the 2nd ounce, 20 cents for the non-machinable part, for a total of 86 cents.

    The rules for these rigid photo mailers changed two years ago. Before that these would have been a parcel, and the rate would be $2.07. I have mailed hundreds of these in the past two years. I have been with the Postal Service for 30 years and a Postmaster since 1998. Look in section 101.1.1 of the Domestic Mail Manual.

    Hope this saves you some bucks.
