    Didn't realize you were into ancients

    Actually, after I got over my Lincoln penny phase, as a kid, I was collecting ancient, mostly Roman imperial, by age 13.
    I disposed of my ancients back in '86 or '87. Basically, got taken by a prominent auction house at the time; part of the reason why I would rather throw my collections into the ocean rather than ever again consign to an auction house.

    These days, as far as ancients are concern, I only have a limited interest in Maurice Tiberius and the anonymous folles.

    Another beautiful coin. This type of coin would get me into byzantines.
