Ebay no longer revealing best offer sales.

Sorry if this has been discussed here before. I don't recall seeing a thread about it. But what is you general feeling about ebay no longer revealing the prices paid when a seller accepts a best offer?

I don't really understand ebay's reasons for doing this. I think best offer prices are a good, if not better, indication of a current market value for any number of collectibles, not just cards.

Thoughts?

I wonder how this will impact VCP? Will they be able to capture best offers going forward? I've been selling a lot of cards via bo recently and I'm sure others are as well thanks to the free listing specials recently.

That works for some, but not all, listings. Don't know why. (Even if you click on "worldwide" or "North America" listings.)

If you copy and paste the EBAY auction number into the completed listings section it will work on every item.

I'm still getting the price with the "line" through it when I try that.

its a tech glitch they are having...they will go back to the old format, soon enough

I think it works on the mobile app. You can't search back too far though.

Is this true? Will we be able to see accepted offers on the US site when this is "fixed?"

I hope so, because it does seem in line with some of the other ridiculous decisions they've made over the years.
