Does PSA Ever Action Unmatched Cert # Requests???

I have a few certs that I've made requests on multiple occasions to have matched up to my sets because they don't show up. Something as simple as a 1961 Topps Chuck Estrada not showing up. Yet despite repeated requests, they do nothing to fix the problem. Has anyone else had this problem? I hate to have to make a phone call to fix every simple web problem.

  • It can take several months sometimes before they add a card. Too long in my book!

I have had numerous cert requests for the various sets I collect and they are usually done in a few days.

There is a spot to report a cert that should match your set and once it is done you will get an email.

That's what I've been using but they never action it. The Estrada request was first made through the system months ago. I guess I have no choice but to call and harrass them.

I add cards through the "report a cert that should match this composite" frequently -- it's usually done within an hour (if during business hours).

I expect there is something unique to what you're trying to do -- best to call customer service.

In the past I"ve occasionally had to send the card in. Too much hassle, and if the cert doesn't go into the set (usually due to a mechanical error, they've entered it incorrectly) I usually ignore it and don't bother with the registry. It's part of the reason why I dumped about 75 sets off the registry years ago, just too much hassle with little mistakes.

Nothing special about this one. A standard 1961 Topps issue Chuck Estrada. I type the cert number in the verification tool and it correctly identifies the card. I go to the registry and it shows no inventory. I enter the cert number in 'add inventory' and it says it's already there. I used the 'report a cert that should be in the composite 3-4 times over the past several months. I'll call them today to see if I can get it straightened out. My concern is that I use my registry lists to check which cards I need. If the card doesn't show up on my registry, I risk repurchasing a card I already own.

Nope. I have no problem adding most cards, including several this morning. It's only a few cards such as this one that won't go in.

I've had this happen to me before. Takes months for them to process it but I always got an email stating that they fixed it.
  • Are you guys adding a new slot? Or adding to an existing slot? Adding a new slot usually takes a month or more.

    I've had to do both.

Just send the request, then email them and send a scan of the front and back of the card. It gets taken care of quick.

That's what I've had to do. My 1950 Bowman Ted Williams wasn't showing up as available to add to my set, so I filled in the form numerous times and heard nothing back. I finally emailed them with a scan of the front, and it was fixed in a couple days. No need to call them.

I called and they think there's a problem in the database as it is showing the card as a PSA/DNA card. It is not. They're working on it.
