"every card is a PSA 9 MINT" . . . Really?

Interesting lot of "PSA" 9's
Well, at least (by my count) 72 of them are PSA 9's. The auctioneer either doesn't realize there are fake flips in the auction or doesn't care.

Probstein123 is actively accepting CONSIGNMENTS !!
I've never seen that before.
EDITED TO ADD: Rick, do those large and small stickers peel off easily? Any residue left when peeled off? THANKS.
Doug
Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Would be better if those stickers were not on the slabs. Without the flip showing the cert, it's impossible to prove to the buyer that these are 9s.

1) People who go after these seller non-stop. Give the guy a break already. I don't know him but he can't be so bad that everybody has to go after him all the time;
2) People who have time to add stickers to their PSA graded cards that seem to have the same info as what's on the flip already.
Some people have JOBS and don't have time like that. I wish I did!
Back to work....
Then again, no need to make a thread about it. If you were interested in buying you could have probably just contacted the seller.
PSA flips without a barcode on the front. Plus the assigned
grade font is different , it looks like this: -9- .
Also the lettering used on the players names is different
than the usual PSA flips.
Very weird looking 'PSA' holders on several cards.
Did PSA once use this type of letting/font on their holders?
I must have missed it.
If I was the seller that received them that way I would never have thought to even leave them on... they look like the fake flips.

ok thats the answer, some of the entire flips are covered with stickers, with the weird font

The card in the bottom left corner is an 8! Another is a 9 OC.
I view Probstein as a Real Estate agent for cards. For the most part he lists what he is given from someone else in as provided condition. I'm sure he get's lots of odd ball stuff like this but hey if that's how the consignor wants it presented who is he to change it.

Probstein is responsible for the items he lists. A poorly presented listing reflects poorly on the seller.
However I'm not wanting to debate the practices of this seller as I choose as many others have to no longer bid on his items as tempting as some of them may be.
put them in graded card sleeves first. That way, if I ever wanted to sell them, there would be no
residue on the holder. It does seem maybe something to hide, but I dont know. Just really wierd
Anybody? Yes, there is an 8 and 9oc.

Actually it only reflects Probstein as the consigno r(consignee?). Rarely does he reveal who the items come from lest it will authenticate or increase demand, such as BBCE or Fritisch. But ultimately Probstein is selling himself. And how the auctions are presented is how he presents his himself. That said, with 100% feedback and only 6 negs in 12 months out of about 20,000 sales, I would say thats a pretty solid representation of oneself. I just got 2 negatives in the last month for stupid stuff and I dont do nearly that kind of business.
But, whether or not the flips are fake. Its not for me to decide. However, one says its clearly an 8. While I would note it, out of 100 cards, I guess its permissable.
<< <i>However, one says its clearly an 8. While I would note it, out of 100 cards, I guess its permissable. >>
Actually, it isn't. When the auction says they're all 9s, and then when the seller posts this "they are stickers...they are all PSA 9's" on this thread, then NO, it is NOT permissable
And, now that I am fully awake, as some have mentioned, I probably should have just contacted Probstein directly, and I agree that this was not a thread-worthy topic.
<< <i>I can't help but think that Probstein reads these weekly threads, and some of the asinine posts, and just laughs................. all the way to the bank. >>
He will also post in them ocassionally for the free advertising at the bottom of his posts

<< <i>Are the cards with the weird label (no serial #) real PSA graded cards????? I have never seen a PSA flip that looked like that. Anybody know?

Hiya Mark
As was said - those are "top" stickers that the original owner placed OVER the flips and were not removed by the seller.
