Arabic Star Token- WHAT IS IT?

I bought this star token with a group of Turkish 100 Para and was trying to get some info on it. Does anyone have any Idea what it was for?

Here are pics of mine. I figure that it is from the early 19th century, but this is based on the fact that I bought some coins from the same time period.

    Yep, it's a jewellery imitation... also known as a "belly dancer coin". I've seen similar pieces with this star design on one side and a very crude replica of an Ottoman toughra on the other.
