But the weight for what coin? or maybe it was a group of coins?

Not 27 shillings?... weight is 7.25 grams...

Weights of 27 shillings are for 17th/18th century Portuguese "Moedas de Ouro" (Moidore), but the weight is off, it should be 10,7 grams...
???

welp, I figured it could be anything. for all I know it's just a slug, but I like the counterstamping.
at $10 delivered to the US from the UK I like it as a golf ballmark.
