That's because you were bidding on his auctions that were three years old!
STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
I just got off the phone with Dean Wormer at Faber college. He said if you made a sincere act of contrition, it's possible you could go back on double secret probation.

#LetsGoSwitzerlandThe Man Who Does Not Read Has No Advantage Over the Man Who Cannot Read. The biggest obstacle to progress is a habit of “buying what we want and begging for what we need.”You get the Freedom you fight for and get the Oppression you deserve.
So heres the story. I'm collecting a psa 10 1983 Fleer set. Since January of last year, card #539 Hubie Brooks has been listed for $149.99. No card in the set is worth that much. I contacted the seller back in April, and offered him $30 for the card. His or her response was, there was no best offer option and that was the price of the card. I said that it was a generous offer and left it at that. Over the weekend I contacted them again and ask them if the price would ever be lowered. They just simply said NO. So I told them, I'll wait for another one to get graded. Now I'm blocked.
Maybe it's just me, but this story almost pedestrian in nature almost dashes that mysterious aura you created by resurrecting all those birthday threads..

Greencrow- Stop trying to educate the Ebay dinosaurs with your common sense about their ridiculous BIN prices. He obviously doesn't think you'll be able to find another Hubie. Until you find another Hubie, he'll be right. Go find another Hubie.. What I've learned is that conversations between buyers and sellers about crazy BIN prices (especially ultra low pop moderns) are about as successful as when you lock a conservative and liberal in a room and make them discuss entitlement programs.

A couple years ago I tried to BIN on a 1952 Topps raw Vern Bickford and couldn't. I came to the forum asking about this ebay glitch and they told me I had probably been blocked - one poster deemed it was because I "called out" a different ebay vendor in a recent post asking if they had gone flaky due to their long shipping times. He also told me he would not be surprised if other vendors blocked me for the same reason.
After updating my list of "Things that would not surprise members of the forum" I checked my vendor history and saw that I had purchased from them in the past. I emailed them asking why I was blocked. They told me it was because when I unsubscribed to their email list, I wrote the reason for unsubscribing was "Mostly, the audacity". They closed their email with "Who writes that?"
They then unblocked me. I did not buy the Bickford.

I did indeed. But it is hard being self righteous. Every day Chico Carrasquel and Johnny Bernadino ask me, "Is Vern coming home today?" and I have to tell them, "NO DADGUMMIT! WE GO THROUGH THIS EVERY DAY! VERN BICKFORD IS NOT COMING HOME TODAY. AND HE AIN'T NEVER COMING!"
