Question for set registry guys

If I consign a card(s) that's on a registry, do I remove it before the sale or after the sale?

<< <i>If you're gonna sell it then I'd remove it before the sale.

That said, I've forgotten to do this on numerous occasions and gotten the PSA removal request ... when that happens I remove the card immediately, look up the buyer from eBay, and email them letting them know it's been removed. >>

I NEVER remove them before the sale is complete. Getting a removal request is a heckuva way to prove the buyer got the item.

I would agree with bking on this one...Paul is also correct but the likelihood of someone entering the cert # into the database while not having the card in hand is very remote, imo..

I used to remove everything once it was listed but now I wait until I'm paid, I recently posted about a guy who did a bank chargeback to my Paypal even though he left feedback, tracking showed delivered, and he registered the card. I won the case but it was still a huge hassle.
  • As a buyer, part of the fun of a new pick up is registering it in the register. So, I think sellers should remove them as soon as they are paid if not sooner.

Also, why not? It's no different from selling a card that you don't have registered. You still have the same protection, either way!

So, just for good customer service, make your buyers happy campers!image
