You just have to love 4 Sharp Corners. They just listed a 2nd PSA 10 1978 OPC Mike Bossy Rookie on Ebay. And for $7400. I am not good at links but their PSA 10 compares very unfavorably to Rick's PSA 10.

If the back is centered better on the 4SC copy, I would rather have that one. The top-to-bottom centering on the front is far more forgivable than the atrocious centering on the back of the probstein one, which to me ruins the card. $7,000+ for a card with that bad of centering from the late '70s? Not in a million years.
Nice card Rick and an even nicer selling result. Congrats! But I gotta wonder how a card with one back corner that has wear (the lower right), would receive a 10 grade?
The front does look sharp but this should really be sitting in a PSA 9 holder at best.
I just bought a PSA 7 card that appeared to have a print mark in the border in the scan. Upon receiving it, there's a hole in the border! You can see light right through the card. How does this stuff happen???

Graders are human. That's what happened. lol When humanity is involved, there are millions of variables that can determine an outcome.

A nice PSA 9 will cost $600+ ish - that is quite a premium.
Bossy does have his followers though and was a great player.
we were quite please with the grade....

4SC Example
Agreed, the top to bottom centering on the 4SC one leaves something to be desired.

I would imagine your buying pizza and beer for the crew after this one...
