That's one fugly 8 there...there are spots (water stains?) on the flip, too. I wonder if some of that damage was inflicted after holdering. That card was graded a long time ago, too.

Thats what it looks like to me. I bet it got those water marks somehow after it was holdered.

agree...probably after being slabbed...but why would someone sell this? It's like trying to sell a new car with a big dent and the only disclosure is a pic.
Yes, the damage should have been at least mentioned in the listing.

There is another possibility. Back in 2008, I sent in a small batch that included a very nice, clean 1974 Abdul-Jabbar #1 and a Plunkett rookie that was nice except it had a huge print dot near his face. It was bigger than the dots on this card. When I received them back, the clean Jabbar received a PSA 8 PD. The print dotted Plunkett received a PSA 8 with no qualifier. Obviously, they were some way mixed up. I called customer service and they told me it was not possible to mix them up?
So, it's possible this could have been a grading error. Unlikely, but possible!
Being interested in upgrading my 1975 Ryan, I took a look at this card while the auction was active and immediately passed after seeing the scan...I admit, I've been guilty in the past for buying the holder instead of the card...but this is pretty ridiculous.

I guess you also think not mentioning OC in the listing for a PSA 9 OC is okay too as long as the card is pictured.
