AARRRGGGHH I've been checking all weekend/this week and can't see the upload option. I wonder if it's because of my ISP?

Would anyone feel like uploading this one for me if it's still on?

I believe I was able to do it for you. Name is http://forums.collectors.com/i/authorsicons/ACF3627.jpg. See if it works...

Edited to add: I don't see that filename on the list, but I know it was there. Tried again - this time it is http://forums.collectors.com/i/authorsicons/ACF3629.jpg.

I will keep this one for a while and revert back to wyo1 tonight...

Too weird I can't see the upload box AND now I can't even find that icon on the list! Unless...do you have to stop wearing it so I can? It is from a conder so it does suit you

Thanks for uploading it. I've heard of a snipe hunt, but now it's a stork hunt. I'll go clear my caches or something and see if it turns up if I hit refresh enough times.

edited to add: Well, I tried clearing my cache and my cookies from Safari and the cookies kept magically repopulating. I switched over to Firefox, cleared the cookies and still can't see either the upload or the new icon's file. I'll try again tomorrow--maybe only one person is allowed to wear an icon at a time (?).

Unfortunately that's true for both types of football.

Great new uploads guys. I'm now tempted to get rid of Farouk in a month or two.

First prize (for originality and humor) to Cathy, next to wybrit, third to LM (coin is nice though).

PS: Mac and Wybrit, you will soon have to choose your title, you'll become expert collectors. At the rate we post though, it might take a while.

It must have been my ISP in Spain. I tried it with the IE on my work computer --I still can't see the file Wybrit uploaded (thank you for trying!!) but the upload icon was still activated. Fortunately I'd sent myself the icon to my work desktop at some point so I had it here and I was able to upload it myself. I feel better dressed already!

Just in time too...I'm going on a 'short trip' for the Navy and will have only sporadic email access in August/September. I have no idea if I'll be able to see the forums. I hope to pick up a few souvenirs of the coin variety along the way. Hopefully I'll have a trip report in the end.

And it's STILL on!

Aethelred twisted my arm really hard and managed to get his greedy clutches on the Seleucid tetradrachm I posted above (though it cost him dearly). So my latest avatar coin went away just like that, before it even settled in here. There have been other newps and trades, though, so since the icon upload is still open, I might as well pick on that should be coming in a currently ongoing trade from another forum.
