Guys,

I know we are a month from the National but thought that we might want to do a mid-eighties group rip for the people that were not going to the National and for anyone who is hooked on the eighties. Steve just posted up a bunch of un-opened baseball cello and rack cases. The rack cases are around 72 racks......typically 3 boxes. We could sell 1 box and sell the other two by the rack. Below is a list I have put together. Reply back to this thread if you are interested and for what so I can gauge interest.

1981 Topps Cello Case - 16 boxes @ $95.63/box
1981 Topps Cello Box - 24 packs @ $4.13/pack
1981 Topps Grocery Rack Case = 1 box @ $180/box and 48 racks @ $7.50/rack
1982 Fleer Wax Case = 20 boxes @ $58.50/box
1982 Topps Cello Case = 16 boxes @ $123.75/box
1982 Topps Cello Box = 24 packs @ $5.63/pack
1982 Topps Rack Grocery Case = 192 racks @ $11.25/rack
1983 Fleer Wax Case = 20 boxes @ $63/box
1983 Topps Cello Box = 24 packs @ $5.25/pack
1984 Topps Rack Case = 1 box @ $75.12 and 48 packs @ $3.13/rack
1985 Donruss Rack Case = 1 box @ $147.12 and 48 packs @ $6.13/rack
1985 Topps Rack Case = 1 box @ $120 and 48 packs @ $5/rack

I surfed through the new stuff and noticed early 80s football cello boxes available. 1981 football boxes fresh from case being the newest at about $20 a pack w/discount. Getting away from the 80's stuff, there is also a 1998 SP Authentic Football Box at about $25 a pack with the discount.

With the baseball I'd probably get some 81 Topps, 82 Fleer and 83 Topps

We can sell one box of the 84/85 topps and 85 donruss racks to the first person who says "I will take it" and then sell the remainder as single racks. The reason I am saying to do this is because there are alot of racks. If everyone thinks this is a bad idea and would rather sell all the racks as singles, then let me know. I will e-mail Steve to reserve and try and go live tonight. If there is a big demand for anything else, please let me know and we can add.

We can't start reserving packs yet. I am waiting to hear back from Steve to make sure he has all the inventory. He sold out some of the good stuff last night. If I hear back from Steve today, I will commence the reserving at 9:00 pm EST tonight. I will make sure this thread is updated.

OK. Heard back from Steve and we are a go. He already sold out of the 85 Topps rack case so I am going to replace with a 85 Fleer cello box. Here is what we will be ripping:

Dty, we have to confirm BBCE/ Steve still has the boxes before we start the "official" thread. As you can see in the forum, we did that and missed out on some of the rack cases. BBCE stuff sells rather quickly on the website and as you can see on the official thread, quickly on the forum. I was hoping for that 85 box but alas, I missed the boat.

I didn't want to bog down the Official Thread but would anyone be interested in adding(assuming Mark and BBCE is cool with it) BB2001 Topps Traded&Rookies or BB1992 Bowman Jumbo to the rip? The price per pack is under $8 per after discount. If not, maybe we can add it to the next one, after the National of course!
