  Lillian was truly Stan's life partner. Read any book on Stan Musial and you will quickly see that Lillian was the rock of that family. The glue that kept it together, and Stan's best friend. Terribly sad news. RIP Mrs. Musial.

  Very, very sad. My grandfather died last year (at 93) and they had been married for 71 years. Surprisingly, my 95 year old grandmother is still doing great. I hope Stan is ok through this. Poor guy.

  2.5 is pretty much my speed.
