Help needed with a civil war store card token

F J & J Palmers store card token with a reeded edge.
I've heard the reeded edge makes this an R8 or 9 is this true?

Some a few Benji's and a half. I guess timing is every thing.

Nice find smitty! I am at work and not able to look it up. But with the F-45a-4d some one will or I will in 6 hours from now.

I disagreed as the edge is obviously reeded in the OP. Look again. All his store cards have a reeded edge. Your token is an R-3. The (R-9) Heritage coin is dated 1864.
