Finally My 1000th Post!!!

This post is my actual 1,000 post on the board. I'm not a prodigious poster but appear to be one of the oldest dinosaurs on the board (joined February 26, 2001). I've seen a ton of interesting threads over the years and participated in many group breaks. All good stuff. I may not participate very frequently but I routinely visit the board and, to this day, enjoy reading the threads.

In honor of my 1,000th post, and in honor of my all time favorite PSA graded set (1978 Donruss KISS), I am entitled to post a picture I took of Gene Simmons:

(Sticks out tongue) Carry on!

    Hiya Matt

    Congratulations.

Have seen you here forever - never noticed your post count.

    Great pic!

I remember posting my 10 yr point here and it's been a privilege to learn from you guys and provide my personal POV on our hobby.

    I'm sure you're good for another 10,000?

    Thanks guys!

I'm a seat snob at concerts... especially KISS. I have to be in the front row for KISS (that shot was from front row center). Once you've experienced KISS that close it's hard to move back!!!

At my pace I should hit post 1000 in 2033!

Rookie (as far as posts). I have seen them only 3 times. I have a friend here in Michigan that is the same way, always has great seats for their concerts.

I'd say your friend is a genius!

Did you see that someone on here had a KISS Series I and II wax box that they were trying to sell??

This is one of the best KISS sets I've seen.

Saw it on cable - was totally in awe!

I missed that! I've had unopened boxes but they were ripped years ago for my set. I'm now pretty much to the point where it is a 10 or go home. Makes it tough to justify buying and ripping a box as you may be lucky to get a handful or less of 10s in a box.

Yep. The spider! They do have a fantastic live show (though I am biased!).

I saw them on that tour, was a mini set though because DTE concert stage here in Michigan was not big enough to hold the full setup. Def Leppard was opening band and was vey good!!
