Just another example....
1. Now I see people are hitting the BIN for a RC (insert whatever your hoarding, predicting etc) within an hour or two of the initial ebay listing.
2. Literally, reposting the exact SAME page (using it as a template), same pics, font, etc from the original seller minutes later.
3. And just changing the sellers name and, of course, a nice 40-50% price increase.
4. Wait for a different flipper to buy it.
5. ....waiting to see if the new listing lasts a day
I have nothing against this, not complaining, more amused, more power to him....Just reminds me of the tech bubble where u could throw a dart, buy it and make 2x, 3x, 4x the money on anything in a very short time..... And I hope no one here is doing this. Nothing wrong with it.....just starting to get a little worried.
...hope the first guy sends the card after seeing what the "new" market price (established by the 2nd guy minutes later) for the card is now (or today ).

That eliminates all the shipping and handling.

I don't like the idea of someone listing an item they don't physically have yet. Not quite what that Wheretheyain't guy does, but still, not sure how you can list an item that you have not received from the other seller, especially with a buy-it-now where you wouldn't necessarily be able to ship it to the new buyer in a reasonable amount of time, assuming it made it to you without issue in the first place.
What's next, people selling the rights to their cert numbers without the rights to owning the physical card, just so one person can have the check mark in their registry while another collector can hold the item?
Stone193...ur abs correct, its day trading. When does irrational exuberance kick in?
miwlvrn...agree, i can see where the big money guys "own the rights" to say 52 mantles 7, 8s and 9s and just trade the rights back and forth....countries and people do it with precious metals...without physical possession .......ugh, whats next?
Clueless. Just sounded like a good idea to go along with your irony?
