Modern Unopened 2000 to present - What should we be stashing away for 20 years?

What are some of the really modern (2000 to present) boxes that people should be stashing away? 2003 Basketball (LeBron) 2000 football (Brady) for example. What boxes would be good to stash for 15 - 20 years?

Plenty of hockey out there that fits that question, especially from 2005 and 2007: The Cup, SPx, Ultimate Coll., even the regular UD boxes.
Also, 2 others that are probably the safest bets out there are 2003 Panini Mega Craques and 2004 Panini Mega Cracks. They have the rookies of the two biggest stars in the entire world today, and are guaranteed legends.
2014 panini world cup
I believe you mean to specify 2014 Panini Prizm WC as opposed to the 2014 Panini WC stickers. Just clarifying for those readers here who are not up on this sort of stuff.
A factor to consider is that you want to avoid products with redemptions
100%, that's why I don't stash any post-2000 since I can't keep up. If you can keep track of what product do/don't have them, any without redemptions should be targeted.
I agree with the 2003 Topps Chrome Basketball for Lebron. I also think Topps from 2009 for Steph Curry is a good product if you can find it. His popularity is incredible with kids and if this team wins another title or two and he continues to play at this level he could qualify as a historically great player. I also agree with the 2003 and 2004 Mega Craques boxes, again if you can even find them. I actually have some packs stashed away but I wish I had some unopened boxes of them. Between the two, I think the 2004 will be the more valuable. I am actually not a soccer fan, but I would say from my understanding that while Ronaldo and Messi are both great and transcendent players that Messi seems to have greater overall popularity. I still think 2012 Topps Chrome FB will be good for Andrew Luck and 2012 Prizm will be good for Anthony Davis as well. A factor to consider is that you want to avoid products with redemptions which is why I like the products I listed above. Most of them have valuable Refractor inserts that will still hold value if the boxes are opened in 20 years. A redemption auto will be a kick in the you know what.
I think 2012 Topps Chrome FB is vastly overpriced at the current levels ($200+). I believe Russell Wilson is a redemption and once it expires, one of the top QBs is gone from the product.
I'd agree with Messi with a slight edge over Ronaldo. Huge huge game coming up soon w/ Barcelona vs. Real Madrid too!
There have been some 2004 Mega Cracks listed lately. This one makes me nervous because the box has such a large amount of wear which may have resulted in the packs getting banged up too, and coupling that with not being wrapped by the manufacturer, you don't know if the box is pieced together with boxes that were opened until a Messi was pulled and then left the rest sealed to add with others like them. Could be a payoff though, tough to say.
The 2002 Portuguese Panini Futebol boxes aren't as expensive, but the 2002 Ronaldo does not sell for nearly as much as the 2003 Mega Craques, and the 2002 is OC or MC way more frequently than it is centered, so the relatively low box cost may be worth it. There are 250 stickers in the box though, so you may not even hit a Ronaldo on some boxes.
For most of the unopened Panini basketball, you can't even find it on e-bay. Is the board thinking it's already overpriced, so not a good investment? Please educate me on this.
Collecting Unopened from '72-'83; mostly BBCE certified boxes/cases/racks.
Prefer to buy in bulk.
As for 2012 Contenders, &29.95/box is a pretty low price. That said, I ripped a box of these a few weeks ago and it was not a fun rip at all. No name auto, brutal inserts and not a lot of base cards. I won't rip that again.
2012 is actually a very interesting year IMO. It houses the double RC class for the 2011 and 2012 drafts, making this a loaded set: Anthony Davis, Kyrie Irving, Klay Thompson, Damian Lillard, Kawhi Leonard, Draymond Green, Jimmy Butler are all stars already (or in Draymond's case will be soon) and there are a few more second tier RCs in there too (Brandon Knight is ok and Andre Drummond is looking like a sure all star this year and Brandon Beal may be an all star this year too).
I think you don't see much of the product on eBay because it is mostly at being sold for lower prices than eBay sellers can match on the websites of DACardworld and Blowout. I think the prices of unopened boxes of the super high end (Immaculate, National Treasures and Flawless) are a little crazy. The best hit would be an Anthony Davis auto and most boxes sell for more than those cards. It is hard for me to see how you can recoup your cost of breaking the box. I would rather go out and buy the Auto cards of Davis and a few of the other big rookies for the same amount as a box, than break a box and end up with a bunch of no name hits. For 2012 there are some very fun products to break (I like Brilliance, Crusade and Marquee on the low to mid end). I think if I were to put away a box from 2012 it would be Prizm, followed by Innovation. I believe Prizm was the most popular product from that year and their Prizm inserts (equivalent to the Refractor inserts in Topps Chrome products) were and are very popular and will be found in packs without redemptions. I am not sure of the auto redemption situation for Innovation, but I thought it came out later in the year so maybe it has less redemptions.
Hoops is relatively cheap too and has some nice SP autos, but I've never pulled any.
