FedEx Fail

CoinosaurusCoinosaurus Posts: 9,614 ✭✭✭✭✭
If you give your account number to someone, to send a coin to you, that transaction does NOT show up online on the FedEx website. Only if they save the tracking number can you access the shipment info. How is it that they can not track all the activity related to a single account number? Their customer rep tells me I won't see any data until the shipment is complete, at which time I'll get billed for it. Surely there is a better way?

maybe Fedex did not fail in this instance

if one uses a manual waybill and adds the account number it wont show up until billed most of the time.
The risk of errors is far greater as well.

The best way is to process the waybill your self with desired service level and send the waybill to the sender
via email it is very common and simple to do. The shipments will show up when picked up if done electronically.
