1971 set break...psa 10's !!!! cheap..LAST NIGHT...and psa 9's thru PWCC

hi guys
I'm doing a 71 set break thru PWCC..all 9s buuuut also auctioning eleven psa 10s all at once..ugh!!!....now I'm questioning if i should have unloaded so many all at once. But I trust them.

You NEVER see psa 10s for 1971 (anymore, i think the graders are getting stricter with the vintage).....took me years to accumulate them...and they averaged around 1200-1500 dollars a piece...so take a look, i probably shouldn't have flooded the market. Even if you're not building the set it may be good as a flip if they go for as low as I'm afraid they will. I just never see any new 10s coming on the market anymore in the last few years.

also, selling all my 9s...i believe the auction ends tuesday...giving you guys a heads up...oh, and psa 9 stars...Reggie, Foster rookie, Yaz etc
thanks again

dennis and originalis...i really appreciate the thoughts.

looks like right now there aren't many "watchers". I'm not sure how accurate the ebay system is on displaying the actual number. With the 9's the POPs are from 1 to the teens so we should see the complete range in dollar amount

of course i hope to get the highest dollar amount but right now (its early) looks like the average will go for lower than the historic averages...we shall see.

if anyone is going to get a great deal, I do hope it'll be the CU members.

Best of luck with your sales. With so many people now using sniping services, it's so hard to gauge the final price based upon where the card currently stands.
    STAY HEALTHY!

dbone..thanks and you're right...but hate starting that low

like i said that PSA 10s were around 12-1500 each...if you can get one around 1k or less, that could be a quick flip for 2-300 bucks...ive seen some go for a steal....

i think the problem here is that the 10s are mixed in with the 9s and don't really stand out.

    still going cheap...ugh

there are POP 1s and 2s at 10 bucks.....i know people wait till the end and snipe but those, in general, go for 400-800. I know all the market variable affect it but I'm not sure I've ever put a $500 snipe for a card at say 30 bucks with five minutes to go....

but you're right....i guess ill see real time as the seller..
thanks everyone for the support. (and seriously make my loss your gain)

Whole lot of 1971s available from PWCC. A set break, complete set, partial set. Flooded. Hopefully your cards get some good bids!

I'm liquidating my 1977 Topps (10%) of set, all PSA 10, including almost all HOFers in the set with PWCC, so I'm in the same year bracket/boat that you are in.

It's still early, we've got a few days left yet. I expect it to get really exciting come Monday/Tuesday.

you're right...there is an excitement to it....brent does a great job for the sellers..meaning being able to access the site and watch just your lots, etc...lots of small details that the catalogue AH's don't have.....it is fun in a way being on the other side of it

i remember buying that one...did you break your set or just individual cards? must have been quite a set. i gave up when the last couple years you just don't see 10s anymore. But it was fun.

I used the Bussineau set purchase to complete my set in 8 or better (finally!) but sold off the four 10s and most of the 9s. I just can't see myself trying to upgrade this set to 9. However, I plan to keep my 8+ set for a long time.
