2014 Topps Dynasty Longoria

Hi All,

Right as I was going to make a conscience decision to cut back on my Longoria spending, Topps had to come out with the Dynasty collection. Curse you Topps!! Thought I'd share my complete Longoria set. Anybody else get sucked in and have a set of their favorite player/players?

Nice cards! I'm confused though. I thought each player was silver ink #/10 and a parallel gold ink 1/1. You have 11 cards and they all look like they're silver-ink and #/10. Was there an extra card issued, or am I just missing the 1/1? Pretty impressive that you were able to track down each card, especially with a decent amount of unopened Dynasty still out there.

Thanks! There are actually 11 cards to the set. (Silver inked to #10) I actually have 6 of the gold 1/1 parallels.

Well now I'm completely confused. Are you saying there are 11 different Longoria cards, each #/10 with a parallel 1/1, for a total of 121 Longoria cards? That seems much different than what was advertised for the set. The Cardboard Connection description, for example, says 72 subjects, serial numbered #/10, parallel 1/1. Similar descriptions everywhere else. I've never seen a mention of there being multiple types of cards for each player. Maybe I've just been misreading everything.

    Nice cards, nonetheless!

Yes, that is my understanding. Beckett lists it as such as well, at least for Longoria.

    Thanks again!
