I can't believe this board has come to this. I was very disappointed by the actions of several members last night. It was disgusting to be subjected to. Sure opened my eyes to the values some people on here hold, and although I know it won't matter to them, I refuse to have any further dealings with them. I won't be driven off tho, and will keep trying my best to get this board cleaned up, and a decent place for all who want to trade and have fun. I could use a little help tho!!!! Thanks to all the good guys out there, and don't give up on our board........

    lol... it's really not that bad... i know some of things people say are BAD and disrespectful, but they only do it for attention... they KNOW people will reply and get mad so it just adds more fuel to the fire... if people would just ignore them completely (completely meaning DO NOT REPLY TO THEIR POSTS AT ALL), then it would go away... nobody is going to go to anyone's house and fight over what was said on a trading card chat board... it's plain ignorance... people need to grow up and have fun... it's not that bad of a place even with all the BS, it's just the people that complain about it are mostly the ones that keep it going... duncangal, i've never seen u reply to any of that sh!t until now, but like i said, if the people who want it to stop so bad REALLY want it to stop, they'd leave it alone... but i think some how, some way, they enjoy it... just my 2 cents...

    I agree. I don't understand why people get so bent outta shape about little things like this. I mean, it's not like Carol moderates at a 24/7 schedule but she does the best she can. I'm sure if people would just ignore the idiots who post garbage, then there wouldn't be as many because they'd eventually get the point that trying to act stupid for attention just doesn't work. I actually don't really care what people post because I'm still happy regardless. People get "mad" and "ill" over things people post here which is ludicrous.

    Maybe it is time people did take some control back. Just ignoring it and hoping it will go away is why kids are behaving the way they are these days. I don't reply to the awful posts, but i don't think I should have to be subjected to the language and disrespect of women either. If I am alone in feeling that way, so be it. I can live with it!!!! image

    no, u shouldn't have to be subject to it, but it happens... maybe it's just me, but who really cares... i don't know these people that post this sh!t so i could give 2 sh!ts about them... i know they don't mean it because they don't even know me (or u)... words are just words... it might be old and corny, but it's very true - "sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me"... corny as hell, yes, but very true... we don't know if ignoring it helps, because NOBODY EVER IGNORES IT... maybe u do, but if ONE person replies, then it ruins it for everyone else... it sucks, but that's just how it is... people think they are helping by replying all tough and cussing back at them, but that does not work (as we have learned)... until everyone works together, nothing will change...

    It's a shame to see such crap as this ruin what is a very good board with a great core of traders.Other than a screening before membership,this type of thing will continue to happen.Ignoring it is the easiest thing to do but will not make it go away.Bored kids or someone with a mental instabilty would be the 2 most likely causes.Kinda like the prank call of my generation

    duncanangel;you are not alone,believe us.We also find some of the garbage on here as disgusting as you have.CJ & I have been emailing these gross threads to CU as we see them.Others are helping Carol & her staff with this vile stuff.
    Unlike some people on here,we as members of this forum will NOT ignore these fools & hope they just go away.They have no business being here if they continully violate the policies & guidelines of this forums' true intent & purpose.So long as they try to continue thier debasing posts we will be vigilant.If & when we see any of this garbage on the forum we will email the thread to Carol & the CU staff.
    Thankfully,they have dumped a few of the violaters & even tho they have tried to come back under new screen names;it sure isn't hard to figure out who they really are.They can't change the way they
    spew thier garbage from thier foul mouths because of thier inferior
    brain matter!!
    We & many other great traders on this forum totally agree with you duncanangel.These nmrods have no business even be allowed on this forum if they won't follow the rules like we all are obligated to do.But even more important,they don't even possess the most basic

    Im not a person that voices my opinion very much, hardly at all, i just look for ppl who are looking for cards and want who i have, thats what this place is about. I have seen so many things that I do not like to see myself. I think if someone has an opinion on a person or has something to say about a person, keep it to themselves. If they wanna make it public, use e-mail not the message board, dont take space up saying so so sucks or is a jerk or any other names, ive seen that quite a few times, and i think its childish. I'm only 19, and I've seen ppl who knows how much older acting like 10, 11, and 12 year olds, and i think its senseless. Im not saying don't have fun, but don't turn this board into the board of insults. I agree with duncangal, THito, and everyone else, these things are a waste of space on this board, and i think we hould make a punishment or something for those who post them, like no dealings with that person for a week or somethingor make them send first on their next 5 trades, something to make them stop. I dunno just my opinion, im sick of seein gthe space wasted tho.

    I just want to say that I appreciate all the kind words of support, and I have faith that things will be getting better soon. It's nice to know that so many feel the same way I do. I don't feel like I am stuck out on a limb now, lol. I also thank those who have apologized for saying things that may have offended others, takes a big person to do that, and is very admirable. Thanks to all.........

    i'm fairly new to this board and i think it's become pitiful with all this nonsense going back and forth. i'm embarrased to bring new people to this site and have them see this childlike behavior. i hope in the future the persons involved in this will think of others before they ruin this site which i thought was a good one.

    well the posting of porn and the foul mouths on here have to stop. just watch yourselves cause kids are on this forum as well. would some of you want someone talking to your kids in this manner? and some of you need to learn to show a little respect to a lady ..... more than one of them on this forum but yes i really want some respect for my lady. say what you want about me i really could care less.
