they changed 3 out of 50. ok. but they didn't mark one card showing me why they didn't change it. this was my 6th review and they have always put stickers on the slab explaining why they didn't change it. i guess i am to assume that they closed their eyes, picked three cards, changed them and then mailed them back. plus i had to wait 50 business day for 3 changes.
Work hard and you will succeed!!

<< <i>yes it was the monthly special. why does it matter, do you know? >>
They will not add stickies about why the card doesn't bump at the collector's club special rate. That kind of service/commentary is only utilized for higher level (or regular) service levels and/or CC membership vouchers.

Something, in my opinion, needs to give somewhere. First it shouldn't take 50 business days to change 3 cards and not explain any of the changes. Second, it would be nice to know when and when they aren't going to provide a service. So maybe it should be specified somewhere. Maybe they should give the option to have it explained. Or maybe they should just do all of them the same.
I don't know something just doesn't feel right about this grading transaction to me.
For your information, most all of these cards were PSA 9's and ranged from 1997 to 2012. It's really hard to see anything wrong with them in my opinion. Centering is fantastic on all of them.

You know, a little sticker that says "Card grade...8 - reason fro 2 point loss, centering and top right corner slightly fuzzy"
For that type of grading, I would pay an extra buck or two. I mean they do it anyway (The logic behind the grade).....put it in writing, make a label that costs .02 to make and charge $2 a card.
Despite my occasional complaint, I've found that once I get my cards back in hand, they are actually quite accurate and it's almost always something I missed....and it's almost always surface related. I've found I'm pretty good at centering and corners, and my mistakes are almost exclusively surface. But the cards I'm looking to review weren't subbed by me, so I'm gonna roll the dice, hope for the best, and worst case hope to learn something.
<< <i>Bumping a grade is akin to admitting they were wrong in the first place, so I get why they are so strict on them. >>
This is why I think 6% bumping is an OK result. Expecting any to bump is foolhardy.
