I'm glad you said it, because I too have a big problem with that. Over the past 2 years I've been to quite a few signings and dabbled in TTM, and I never choose a card that already has a facsimile. When I was choosing which vintage card to have Yaz sign, I actually passed up other cards solely because of the facsimile. No, you're note alone.
collecting RAW Topps baseball cards 1952 Highs to 1972. looking for collector grade (somewhere between psa 4-7 condition). let me know what you have, I'll take it, I want to finish sets, I must have something you can use for trade.

I am with you two. I like the card to have just one autograph on it.
Collecting Topps Baseball: 1966-present base sets Topps/OPC Hockey 1966-Present base sets
About 10 years a go @ the Cleveland National years a go I purchased a signed 1980 WBTV Charlotte O's (Blue Border) for $500. I was actually shown 2 of them by 2 different people. I resold it the next day for $700 to another dealer. Should of kept it!
Best regards!

<< <i>Awesome card of one of my favorite modern baseball players.

I completely agree. I collect autos and I collect cards but not together. I would prefer to have that Ripken in a PSA 10 holder sans the auto and display it next to an autographed 16x20 picture of a meaningful moment in Ripken's career.
Baseball, it is said, is only a game. True. And the Grand Canyon is only a hole in Arizona.

IMO, it all depends where the autograph is placed and how much their signature has changed.
Here is the other PSA/DNA 10:

Even a mantle card with a facsimile signature, i wouldn't want him to sign it again if I had a choice.
Best regards!
