Hi- I'm back, briefly. (Announcing my Registry selloff on Buy/Sell/Trade forum)

Hi, Registry pals. It's your semi-retired competitor Lord M, selling off all my coins to get a piece of real estate for our growing family.

I hope all your sets are doing well. I see keithdagen has been busy, and I bump into cosmicdebris over on "The Dark Side" occasionally. (I'm trying to "corrupt" him into collecting world coins, but so far have only been partially successful). image

Instead of being a competitor now, perhaps I can be a source, for some of you. As I was a type collector, my holdings are fairly diversified, usually common-date coins, but high grade. Why don't you mosey on over there and see if I have anything left that you might need? A few pieces have sold, but as of this thread there are quite a few left. Because of my costs, these are for sale at fixed prices, but I do pay the shipping and insurance, and most coins are still priced below PCGS trend prices. I am even offering my latest darling that I once used as an icon picture; the Benson PCGS PR63 CAM 1898 Barber half (mintage 735, population 2).

The majority of my gold, except for an MS62 1907 No Motto $10 Indian listed (sale pending), will be sold later. It is still up as the #6 20th Century Major Design Gold Type Set; a short 8-piece type set with a grade average of 62.0 (all my gold is MS62 except an MS61 $10 Liberty and two MS63 double eagles). I will probably offer that for sale as a complete set, then if I get no takers I will either break it up or keep it, just to have something registered. It is my only registered set left; I deleted the others, though many of the coins remain.

Come and get 'em! image

  • Hey LM,

Best of Luck with your new purchase. It sounds like you found a wonderful place!

I remember parting with one favorite coin to help with the down-payment for our place. I still have fond memories of that coin, but am reminded every day of what it helped us purchase! image

BTW - That PR69DCAM Ike is now in my Modern Proof Type set. Much thanks for it again. image

I wish that I could afford your icon!!! image

    Best Regards,

    Don
