Mickey Lolich!

Last night, Arnie Spanier noted that in consecutive seasons, two pitchers earned 3 world series victories. Bob Gibson and Denny McLain.

Sorry Arnie, the Tiger was Mickey Lolich in 1968.

Great Southpaw and Detroit legend. Just setting the record straight.

He hosted a quality national sport talk show a decade ago. Now he seems to bounce around.

Lolich did homer in game 2 of the 68 series. His only lifetime home run.

I used to like Arnie, on the radio in Phoenix, in 1993 or so.
