    These cards remind me of something MAD magazine would do, or has done before these packs were made. I think MAD mag. started in 1963 or so. When did these packs first appear?

    Mad did do product parodies starting in the late 50s. Wacky Packages themselves started in 1967, but there were product parodies dating back 30 years before that.

    As I was organizing my wacky packages unopened packs this morning, it suddenly hit me how much the world has changed in the last 20 years. All 60+ of these different packs were sitting around somewhere since the seventies. In 1995 I would have been lucky to ever be able to purchase three or four of them. And yet in this crazy internet world of ours, I was somehow able to locate all of them (though it took a lot of time and patience). Pretty hard to fathom!

    Those spinner bait & tackle boxes are great for raw pack storage.


    Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
