    A lady bought these into the shop a couple years ago … and like most coins that seem worthy, I sent them in thinking someone else might appreciate them as much as she and I, some day. …. although the thought did occur that they might look better dipped prior to submission image

    A couple of NEWPS that arrived last night. The 78S sure is a tough bird to find in 65DMPL or PL, so these will have to do.

    The top image is a PCGS 64PL, the second NGC 63PL. The NGC piece is hardly PL, more like semi PL+. The PCGS example has a full blown B&W DMPL obverse and a PL reverse. Any 78 in gem DMPL or PL is a find and will commad a premium.
