My first large silver "lowball" coin :)

Weighing in at a 22.05g at a solid G-4 grade, my new 1936 lowball dollar. It weighed 23.33g when it left the mint, an impressive 5.5% loss of weight. I wonder how long it will take to get down to an honest aG-3? So far the rim is only starting to wear down at 8 o'clock on the obverse

That is the lowest grade I've ever seen for a Canadian $. image

I like that one, ajaan. I recall seeing it on Ebay quite some time ago. If I recall correctly, it was before or right at the start of lowball maniac for American coins.

It'll take a while, but I am working mine down to hopefully a Fair or even Poor grade image

I was bought from one of Jeremy's (airplanenut) eBay auctions.
