National Pickups and I wasn't even there.

The start of my family vacation fell the same weekend as the National, so I was not able attend this year. I did however have a good friend on the lookout for items for me. On Wednesday I received a phone call letting me know that BBCE had a 1973 cello pack with Willie Stargell showing. I then negotiated a price with BBCE and purchased the pack. He also helped me complete a deal with Jeff Foy "Card Country" on the two fantastic looking Stargell cards. I wanted to give a huge shout-out to Matt (Mbmiller25) for taking the time to look for cards I might want. Thanks again Matt!!!!!

WTB: PSA 1 - PSA 3 Centered, High Eye Appeal 1950's Mantle
Matt's a great guy and you know if he picked out those cards, its because they have great eye appeal. Very awesome additions indeed.
Super cards there. Love that 63 Willie. I think there's probably a lot of Willie envy after those scores.
Great pick-ups. The 63 is my favorite of the three. You can't go wrong with that.
Now, let your Bucco's know it is time to fade so the Reds can win the division.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
<< <i>Glad you like it Bobby. Next year I hope your there in more than just voice. >>
I echo Matt's sentiments.
Great eye as always by Matt and excellent pickups Bobby!!! You did really, really well on that '73 cello and I agree that the '63 Stargell is a blazer, congrats!!!
