Impressive. The STAR cards are crap...its a shame that they are even required...almost like they should be part of a SUPER MASTER SET.
    Enjoy your collection!

It is easy enough to do a search:

    Bo Jackson
    Collector of:Baseball
1955 Bowman Raw complete with 90% Ex-NR or better

Now seeking 1949 Eureka Sportstamps...NM condition
Working on '78 Autographed set now 99.9% complete -
Working on '89 Topps autoed set now complete

  • I agree there are alot of star cards which makes up a good percentage of the the set. I am not as concerened about finding all those in tens as i am the rest of the set. It seems that just now bo has picked up in popularity and more of his cards are getting submitted. i have quite afew that are the only examples graded so far. many of which are not added to the composit.

I've noticed that Bo seems to be getting more popular lately too. I was wondering if it had anything to with ESPN's 30 for 30 episode on him that came out this spring?
  • i would say the 1988 Topps Football 327 has gone up because of that and i think the 1987 Leaf has gone up a good bit because it is needed for the Basic and Master Registry sets. For a while they have not came up that offten, but as of late there have been afew psa 10s pop on the report.

The 1990 Score card where he's holding the bat and wearing his shoulder pads has been a hot item lately too selling for $30-$40 consistently which is pretty good for a non-rookie card from the 90s.
  • I would say that the 1990 Score Black and White card would be the card that most collectors would want to add to their collection even if they don't collect Bo Jackson, and in turn holds the price up. the 1989 Score Supplemental is close to the same way.
