Unusual 1903 Morgan Dollar

Just purchased this 1903 Morgan which is proper weight and legit - however, the surfaces are a highly reflective greyish brown with very well defined devices.

All you Morgan experts out there......I havent seen one like this in a while......squared off denticles and rims. Either a lightly worn prooflike dollar or an impaired proof. Hard to get good photos to see how the surfaces look in person.

Steeler - not polished at all.

I've seen thousands of Morgans over the last 35 years and these surfaces are very different - hard to photograph. The devices are very pronounced.

But im uploading a pic - closeup of the denticles, pay attention closely to the die polish/striations that appear from the edges ino the fields....

What do the reeds (on the edge) look like? This should settle the issue.

Not a proof, sorry. Just a loose screw causing the denticle sliding on the edge.

I'm thinking it's a VAM 2. The 9 appears to be open and the 1 taller than the other digits.
