PSA "authentic" grade for packs

Is there any chance the cards in this pack are decent? How is it "authentic" and still not a 1? I've read the criteria for the authentic grade and all I can tell is that something big is wrong. For this pack, is it as simple as the pack being fine outside of the big rip? Or does it have to have crayon and candle wax on it to get the authentic tag? Or maybe popped open in the back with no real seal? I'm interested in thoughts on this pack, but I'd also like to know what "Authentic" really means. It seems pretty vague.

Authentic means the pack is genuine but did not grade the minimum grade the submitter specified on the submission form. For a pack like that, I'm betting the minimum grade requested was pretty low anyway, lol..

Just to play with the rule so I understand, if I send in a pack with a minimum grade of a 1, it couldn't possibly come back as authentic. If it's unopened and in crappy condition, I'm getting a 1. And if I send in a pack in PSA 3 condition, but give a minimum grade of 5, then I'm probably getting an authentic tag. Is that correct?
