Update on local B&M:

More buying than selling, busy in the am and slow in the pm (afternoon)
No Maples Silver or Gold, all Silver Maples go directly to e-bay to be sold (higher premium)
Big inventory of Silver Eagles
No old poured Englehard bars (none for quite some time)
Buffalo, Philharmanic, Krugerrand in stock
Plenty of 1 oz silver bars/rounds in stock

Here's us today:

Slow in the first two hours, then busy with people selling for about an 1 1/2 hours around 12-1:30. selling scrap gold, scrap sterling, a little 90%(not much today) Bought about 5k worth of scrap gold today. Then slow again, we close at 3:30 . Had to cut business down and close earlier, tax man takes too much if you do to much business.

No eagles in store, cant keep em in stock. I could sell 500 a day currently if I had em, (course we dont jack em , like the other shops) current price is 36.50 Other shops have plenty one at 38.00 the other at 45.00. Loads of newbies entering the silver market with a vengence

No gold in stock, 1 russian 10 kopecks came in today. nobody wants it, they only want gold eagles. One lady did have 4 1/10th oz, but wanted more than we could sell them for so we let her walk.

this week we have been slow, motel buyers in town for the past two weeks. However, the past two weeks prior we were slammed. Reports from the motel , they are really slow as well, in fact one of our customers who went down thier to check out thier buying prices said one guy was about to fall sleep waiting for foot traffic to come in. (good, bout time they suffer) We ran two full page adds just prior to the motel buyers coming to town this time with fair warnings. ( between between sept 2 -sept 14 we bought over 125k over the counter)
