Auctions- in person old school

I live in the tri-state northeast and am fortunate to have 4 decent, live, in- person, sports card auctions to go to. two of them are monthly and the other two run about 4-5 time a year. it is here where i find some nice lots and for decent prices. i really enjoy the format and the people i meet. no doubt it's alot of fun and i think i'm lucky. do other board members have similar venues in their area? just curious..

I would love to go to something like that. But as far as I know Kansas City (and the midwest in general) is devoid of anything of that nature. image

i live in NJ; but i travel to Hershey Pa for David Birmingham's Auction (very good) and also to Nazareth Pa for Dotta Auctions (see website); and in Jersey there are two modest 150 count lot auctions in Bound Brook (north of New Brunswick) and FreeHold. i guess I am lucky....

You will run into some other board members occasionally at Hershey..... I will add that I would rarely go if it was more than an hour drive for me.

Plenty of deals to be had at local auctions if you know what you are looking for.
