The Lakers are a c-ocky team. Kobe is just in love with himself and is a loud mouth kid. Shaq is somone who couldn't hit an free-throw if it was half the distance it is now. Shaq is only good because he outweighs his opposition and constantly fouls them on the offensive end. It is funny how his toe is keeping big tough man Shaq out of the line-up. Vcarter is like the cheap version to every toy.

You know optimus prime and megatron original toys~ Some company has to make cheaper versions of there toys so people can afford and make it look like the real thing WHEN IT ISN'T.

Vcarter is a cheap version of jordan who had to try and copy his style, But will end up being just a never could live up to jordans legacy type player. That's some big shoes to fill and he should of started on it along time ago. What has he done though?

I'm certainly with you and if the Blazers concentrate on the Lakers and not the refs--they have an outside chance. I've watched the Blazers play alot this year and they seem like two different teams on different nights. It depends on what team shows up come Sunday.

You all have to remember that its all for entertainment, to say one team or player sucks is just a moronic thing to say. I dont care if you are talking about kobe or kurt rambis... They all made it up there and that should tell you something. I think the lakers could dominate this decade if they wanted to. Best club I can really remember. I personally would like to see them beat because 9 times out of 10 I root for the underdog plus portland should have been a lot better the last 3 or 4 years.

Shaq is the best center there is now in the NBA without a doubt. He may be the best ever definately one of the best. Without Shaq the Lakers are definately vulnerable but are still very good. I would like to see Portland win. If Rasheed can keep his cool and everyone else can just work together and stop criticizing eachother they could have beaten the Lakers the past what 2 or 3 years. The Blazers have the most talent, only other one close is Dallas. They've got practically no drop off in talent they have Pippen, Stoudamire, Wallace, Anderson, Wells, and just about everyone else is good. They just gotta learn a little. Too bad Sabonis isn't younger then he would definately cause problems for Shaq not because of out rebounding him but because he's got some range and that would draw Shaq away from the glass so you would have Samaki Walker on Rasheed Wallace hmm...I'd take Wallace any day. Too bad....

I definately agree, Vince Carter is way overrated. He is a good scorer but I guess he was causign the team troubles. Oh Well Maybe the Raptors will trade him once they see that they are better off without him. Chris.

Everyone who hates the Lakers (including me) is missing the key point here. Shaq may be a bit overrated (although he still can dominate whenever he feels like it) and Kobe is good, but the rest of them just doesn't look very good on paper, but then they still beat the crap out our favorite teams (like my Spurs...oh, the humanity). ARRRGGHHHHH!!! It drives us all nuts, so we say things like "Kobe sucks" or "Shaq is just some big fat guy" because we can't explian why our stupid teams keep losing to the God-D*mned Lakers
