Red Grange find! Cool item.

Picked this up as part of a collection

The back has a note saying it was given as a gift on June 3, 1925.

Tried to find some info on it but came up empty.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Crazylegs

  • Reminds me of the strangest thing in my Steve Young collection. Rawlings tights...I mean Bodyslide shorts.

Don't know what it is, but I like it!! It's obviously from the Grange era and is unique.

Always looking for Mantle cards such as Stahl Meyer, 1954 Dan Dee, 1959 Bazooka, 1960 Post, 1952 Star Cal Decal, 1952 Tip Top Bread Labels, 1953-54 Briggs Meat, and other Topps, Bowman, and oddball Mantles.

Great pickup Craig!!! Now you just need to find the sweater and you're all set. You might want to try Steve or Mike's place. I think they bought them back in the day. image

I liked how it said everyone that buys a sweater gets an autographed picture too.

completely cool item. I wonder if the sweater company is still in business. Would be pretty cool to have that item brought back....although most ppl probably wouldn't have an idea who Grange is now.

Very cool item! Too bad it didn't come with the sweater or the autograph.

The company is no longer "Rosenbaum," but it appears to be part of Edwards Garment now.

Samuel Rosenbaum named it the Kalamazoo Pant Co. in the late 1800s, and after his death his sons changed the name to Samual Rosenbaum and Sons in the early 1900s. However, federal regulations enacted in 1930 required the corporate name to be the same as the trade name, so it went back to being Kalamazoo.
