Jeter, Suh, Ryan, Oh my! What would these grade? Your opinions requested...

Just curious if these are worth sending in for grading? The Jeter is a thick card and my concerns are with the corners...they appear to be slightly rounded, but that may be my eye playing tricks on me or the design of the card itself. The ryan does not have bent corners, but they appear to have some really light surface scaring (same w/ Suh). I have uploaded some high res scans here for your viewing pleasure. What might the potential grades be? If not worth grading, sell raw on Ebay? Meatloaf

the locations of the scans are good, just not showing up?

Also I am not sure I would grade any of them . the edges and sides are somewhat beat up and probably would not turn into good grades. Nice cards none the less. Images might be to big to post, not sure exactly how the software is set up.
I am working on the Nolan Ryan master set. Need 1004 more cards to complete. I might actually spend more on plastic than I did on cardboard.

My bad, they work now? I see them on my end using IE, but not sure if they appear in Chrome. Meatloaf
  • No, and they do not work in firefox either.

Thanks for the advice. I was thinking along these lines. Better to unload on Ebay in present condition I assume? Not sure why the images are not showing up either. Meatloaf

  • << <i>and the images are good and I cant get the images to work, you may be out of luck. Maybe the hosting service is blocking content on external sites. >>

Yes, I just signed up for this free ftp host like 6 hrs ago and it appears they block external content. : ( So I am off to find a new host. Sorry for wasting everyone's time. I will repost soon (hopefully with better results). Meatloaf

    ETA:

Given the condition, I wouldn't grade them for resale. You'll get killed on the edges and corners. If you're grading them for display... go for it.

Though, the PSA case for those super thick cards like the Sweet Spot autos look like a vacuum sealed Rubbermaid container.
