What cards smell the best?

For my money, it was 1978 Donruss KISS cards. Does anyone have any of these? Do they still smell like they did in 1978?
I also liked 1991 Stadium Club baseball.

money typically kept in a wallet smells like a$$.
therefore, cards which smell like a$$ smell the best.
I do remember the smell of those KISS cards. Didn't they have the gum that had a lot of powder on them, not the normal Topps gum?

LOL... I bought a box of the Lineage at the National. Actually just took all the cards out of the packs Sunday night and sorted the cards... my thoughts then matched yours, "these cards smell bad"

AGREE, except it was mid to late 60s for me. The first pack of the year smelled like GOLD!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

I think so. Even the cards that didn't touch the gum still smelled good. I'm not sure if it was the cards themselves, or if it was just because of the gum.

Next - and more weird - for those who go back - remember the cool smell of a test copied from mimeo? The 1992F Ultra had that weird smell - must be the UV coating?
