Allen Iverson overrated?

I'm thinking AI might be overrated. He has been taking like 40 shots a game and making 13 of them. Plus free-throws and 3-pointers thats about 35 points. 35 points in a game is pretty much in this leauge and if you gave Kobe 40 shots I bet he would average that many a game plus some. I know that AI is a great player and I admire his moves but come on...40 shots a game? It's crazy. The 76ers aren't a team without him. I think it's because they don't have anyone to pass to. But sometimes Snow or Claxton back up his absence but it doesn't really happen on a regular basis. I think the 76ers haveto pick up a good player in the draft to be a dominant team again.

    you jelous mother f* cka...Iverson is not over ratted at all....if anything hes underrated...what do you expect look at his team....who the he l* else is going to shoot the d a*m ball? Kobe has shaq,fisher,horry, and what more do you need? my goodness i hate ai haters...

    LOL!!! I never said I hated AI...I was just saying he might be overrated because he takes so many shots and that is how he sores all of his points.

    Well right now he's taking 0 shots per game,And his team has lost 7 out of their last 11 games without him..But his team will still make the playoffs because of the cushion built by Iverson..He will still win the scoring championship again this year..USA Today reported that the closest runner up to the scoring title is Shaq..And even if AI did'nt play again for the rest of the season Shaq would have to score 53 points per game in every game left in the regular season to catch him for the scoring title...

    AI takes alot of shots..Yes..AI takes alot of bad shots..Yes...AI carries his team...Yes...His team can win without him...No...

    Overrated would be if he took those shots and his team did'nt make the playoffs,Or if he took those shots and did'nt lead the league in scoring,steals etc..

    If you wanna talk overrated look at Vince Carter..He CAN'T carry his team...His team can't win with him..But since he left for the season they've been on a hot winning streak..Had Carter been benched earlier in the season the Raptors would probably make the playoffs..But he ran his team in the ground...

    Thats how being overrated is defined..People talk about Carter like he's "Godlike"..But he can't win for his team....People talk about AI saying he takes too many shots he does this ,does that..But in the end he wins for his team...

    LOL...those stats are because the 76ers are a one man team. If you traded AI for Paul Pierce who do you think would have bette stats on their team? Paul Pierce because no one besides AI is an good on the 76ers. They need AI and he scores so many points and gets all tat other sh** because he gets the ball a lot. If you take any star in the leaug and tell him to take 40 shots he will make a lot of them. Just like the 76ers are letting AI do.

    The 6er's have alot of good players...Do you realise how good you have to be to play in the NBA....What it is the 6er's have no 'second man'...No Shaq/Kobe no Allen/Cassell no Nash/Nowitzki no Stockton/Malone etc. etc..

    Derrick coleman can be a great player (when he wants to)..The 6 er's bench is way more talented this year than last..Harpring,Blount..They are all great players...They just don't seem it because folks let players card BV's tell them how talented they are...Forget cards and BV's for a second and go to NBA.com and just look at stats and you'll see....

    He's in the Top 10 in the NBA in just about every category. One man team? Hmm 76ers has Mutombo & Aaron Mckie who does their job in their position.
