1857 Flying Eagle Rotated Reverse

I am having a hard time finding any information on this so I thought I would bring it to the forum, you guys are geniuses! I just picked up an 1857 Flying Eagle, about a F15 to VF20, but the fun thing is it has a die rotation of I would guess 18 to 20 degrees. Is that rare? It wasn't labeled as an error, and certainly not priced as anything special. I also thought about sending it in for the quarterly freebie, which excludes Mint Errors, but if I don't classify it as that will they grade it normal? Anyway, your thoughts are appreciated.

    Minor rotation within mint tolerance so not considered an error and no TPG would label it as such.

    Most collectors want their Rotated Reverses
    to be at LEAST 45 degrees, if not 90 or more.

    The US Mint tolerance is 27 degrees. (don't ask
    me why it's not 25 or 30).

    Anything less than about 35 degrees won't be
    certified by most services, as far as I know.

    What Fred said - seems 10-15% is pretty common.

    I have several that are rotated 360 degrees.

    I believe the general rule is that
    once a coin is rotated more than
    180 degree's, it becomes a
    'Counterclockwise Rotation".

    Don't know if that's the rule everywhere,
    but if the to of the reverse of the coin
    points to 3:00, for example, it's a 90 degree
    Rotated Reverse. If the top of the reverse
    points to 9:00, for example, its a 90 degree
    CounterClockwise Rotated Reverse, or CCR.

    (I know you're kiddin' about the 360, but I
    thought I would offer a short explaination
    in case some weren't familiar with this)

    I just recently picked up an 1857 in VF with a 90 degree CounterClockwise rotation of the reverse.
