    An issue probably doubly dubious in Deutschland.

    What percentage of jewelry do you think makes it into the grave here in the US? Bury momma with that 3 carat diamond solitaire platinum ring? Sure. But between the memorial service and the graveside internment, you know, when the mortuary services people screw the lid down, don't you think a fair number of pieces...re-inter the market?

    That was actually done in the late 19th century to prevent grave robbing.
