My first (and second) eBay auction - What do you think?

eBay Auction
This is going to be the first of many items that I'll be listing and I wanted to get your opinions on if I should do anything differently?
Also, do you think that is a fair price? I don't want to waste money every month paying eBay if I'm listing the ball too high.
Any comments/criticism would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Interested in any Favre stuff you have to offer.

Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
<< <i>Fair price with the holos, maybe a little (I mean little) low. Good luck. >>
It's hard to price a ball to sell for the most you can get for it. I've been watching other BIN's and auctions and I felt like I'm pricing these 2 balls higher than what I've seen them sell for. Hopefully they'll pay off.
I have 130 auto'd balls that I'm eventually going to sell off, so hopefully I gauge my prices right.
<< <i>larger picture of the ball and less of the huge black background would be nice >>
Noted: I'll make sure I crop the balls out of the background. Thanks for the suggestion.

Good point. I use these little plastic round display stands to photograph balls on, although sometime I will use an open baseball cube for auto balls.
This is a game-used John Maine auto Steiner ball. With baseballs I try to show the auto, the league stuff and if MLB and/or Steiner, the holos, meaning usually I provide three images.

<< <i>Here's a Steiner GU baseball on one of the little stands I mentioned. You can find these at any rock shop.
I guess I should have asked about the pictures before I took 250 of them my way! doh! I have display cases, but I like the little stand idea. I'll have to track one of those down and re-take the pictures as I list the balls.
Also the clear stands (lucite I think) come in two sizes, maybe more now as they have been around. If it is an item that does not want to set on the stand, I will sometimes use a large size one behind it. Or in my case, like a funny shaped rock or crystal. A second large stand can act as a wall.
And, sometimes, I will use one as a wall, here is an arrowhead from Kentucky.
Finally, without measuring, I think they are 2" across so I can sometimes use that as a size reference in the auction or store description. Like a pin-back pin. They usually are commonly 1 to 1.5." So just note in the auction or listing for the buyer to use the stand as a size reference.

If you are going to be selling more MLB authenticating balls, you can use this gif in the auctions. Assuming you either understand how to play with HTML or are store and can do 12 images for free.

<< <i>Alright...one final note on photographing baseballs. Guess I am bored today.

Great information! I know a little bit about html.
