A very rational and modest message.A short period of reflection,
is often the best cure for anger and frustration.

Jeez, were it not for the typos, I would have guessed that the Legend legal team had drawn it up. I am going to call and ask George who had a gun to Laura's head as she wrote it. image

    One can imagine the "discussion."

I liked the first hot topics post on the subject better. She said what she felt needed to be said from a collector and dealer standpoint. The first hot topics was like a kid mouthing off to the principal, although the kid may be right, it is never a good idea to hammer on the person that make make your life miserable.

I would rather hear the transcripts from the phone conversation between Laura and Don.image

She is a force and knows her field but she is always going to get backlash to anything she writes from one side of the fence or the other. I am surprised she writes as much as she does.

People sometimes forget that we all need to give back to sustain the hobby, If we only focus on how it affects us the joy gets lost on the beginner collectors.

I suspect that a mea culpa from Laura is a rare animal.
    When in doubt, don't.

I think it was a pretty classy thing for her to do...and I'm impressed. Seriously.

I am not sure that Laura always realizes how powerful her platform is, and the attendant responsibility that goes with that. I am sure her heart is in the right place, but sometimes it comes out wrong when she isn't doublechecking the message. What she needs is a team of advisors, kind of like the President has, to vet the message before going public. That's probably asking way too much for such a small (staff-wise) operation.

Anyone save the original text and have access to it? I saw the post at work and planned to read it when I got home but it was gone. I got the gist but would like to read it myself.

    Thx
